Tweed Run
The announcement of the annual Tweed Run last week got my attention on account of this gorgeous poster. I do love the simplicity of 1920/30s travel posters and this pays homage to that style. I'm also the very proud owner of a Pashley Roadster (not that dis-similar to the one in the poster) and although don't yet own a flat cap, I do quite fancy myself as the 'gent-about-town' in the poster.
This years Tweed Run poster was designed and illustrated by Zoe Barker (www.zoebarkerdraws.com) – and I particularly love the line 'A metropolitan bike ride with a bit of style'. I would love to 'dust off my vintage velocipede' (to quote the website) and wear my finest plus-fours but alas this year I will have to simply admire from afar.
Happy cycling!
